My beloved cat Enney was a patient of Dr Fipp at Maplewood Animal Hosptal for years. He had asthma and had appointments at least twice a year. Dr Fipp took hi time with Eeney and called back promptly when I had a question. Enny development Diabetes and was very sick. We decided it wouldnt be in Enny's best interest to try to treat the diabetes and asthma. That was the hardest thing I have had to do. His diabetes was sudden and severe.I hadnt had time to prepare to say goodbye. The staff was caring and supoortive. When I went to pick up Enney's ashes Dr fipp asked how we were doing and office staff were concerned also

After a terrible experience at Care Animal Hospital (yes, I know they are “related”), I moved my sweet fur babies to Maplewood and am the happiest I have ever been. Dr. Rebecca helped me keep my sweet Meika alive for far longer than any of us imagined after she got the horrid diagnosis of osteosarcoma. Once osteosarcoma is big enough to find, it’s generally all throughout the blood stream. We had no hope other than to keep my old girl happy and not in pain. She was diagnosed in November 2021, given a very short amount of time left, and sent home with great pain management and an even better plan. Meika just passed in January of this year and it’s due to the diligence, care, and compassion of all the staff at Maplewood 🩵 We kept her alive and comfortable and I got to enjoy so much more time with her. I love taking all my babies to Maplewood and will never go anywhere else!

The veterinarians and the whole staff go way above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. They were able to see our Moe immediately when he was in desperate need of care and our regular vet wouldn't even talk to me. Unfortunately, we were unable to see improvement in our old boy and had to say goodbye. They made a very unhappy experience so much better. They have a very comfy room where we said goodbye and they couldn't have been more caring and wonderful. They are angels for sure. I can’t say enough good things! On Friday I took my dog there (as a new patient) she was throwing up and lethargic. They did X-rays and said she had Pyometra. She needed an emergency hysterectomy right away. They explained the cost, offered to let me pay payments and did the surgery that day. Kept her all weekend, and Dr Andrew called with many updates and they even sent some pics. He personally monitored her all weekend. I picked her up Monday and she feels so much better! I had to let my very best friend go recently. She deteriorated quickly in her old age and it was time was too fast. Our vet was not in office when it was time but Maplewood got us in immediately. The room they offered us was comfortable and the couch provided was perfect. I was able to hold my good girl the whole time.Dr. Fipp came in and was so incredibly gentle with my family. He was so gentle to my baby. He was telling her that she was such a good girl and you could tell he meant it. Every person in that office made us feel safe and supported. We had a great experience with the doctor and all the staff members. Very friendly kind welcoming people. My staffordshire developed a skin issue and the day we called, we were seen within hours. The doctor has that calm aura about him. Our dogs don't interact with a lot of people so we were anxious about our girls being anxious. Let's say the experience was a million times better than we thought. They have our girls great treatment. Within 24 hours we have noticed a big difference in our girls skin condition and was improved tremendously already!!! He will get our business for many years to come. Thank you Dr and staff!!!!

We’ve only been to this vet a couple times, but have always felt welcomed. I appreciate they don’t pressure you into buying things and services and don’t make you feel guilty if you decline. My senior dog has been experiencing some pain suddenly and they were able to get him in that day. They were so kind, patient, and gentle with him. I got what he needed for the time being, but couldn’t afford to also update him on his shots. I felt like a bad dog parent, but they didn’t make me feel bad at all. Will definitely recommend!
