I used to take my two cats when I lived in Muncie in 2021. Maplewood was wonderful! Excellent staff, very caring and thorough veterinarians. At one point my cat’s single eye infection turned into a double eye infection and the vet had me bring him in to reassess and try a different treatment. I was pleasantly surprised I was not charged for the second exam fee. I also took him there for gastrointestinal problems and they were wonderful with that as well. Both kitties received routine vaccines here and overall it was a great experience. I wish they were closer to where I live now!

Dr. Fipp is very thoughtful and kind, and he is able to answer all of your questions with honesty and straightforwardness. All of the staff were extremely pleasant to be around. Pricing is very much on the lower spectrum, and the estimates provided were true to the actual price after my sweet kitty Mango’s dental surgery. All staff and Dr. Fipp were very informative on aftercare instructions, and they all love what they do and love working on animals, it genuinely shows! I’m going to make Maplewood Mango’s primary vet after this amazing experience, I will return in the future for all check ups and shots necessary 🙂

We had a great experience with the doctor and all the staff members. Very friendly kind welcoming people. My staffordshire developed a skin issue and the day we called, we were seen within hours. The doctor has that calm aura about him. Our dogs don't interact with a lot of people so we were anxious about our girls being anxious. Let's say the experience was a million times better than we thought. They have our girls great treatment. At around 5:30p last night, I noticed my sweet Charlie Magoo was straining to pee, and there was blood. I immediately called Maplewood. They were fully booked, but they said they could see him in the morning. About ten minutes later, they called and squeezed him in to be seen. We got there at 6:30p, 30 minutes before they closed. They were so gentle with my guy. They took time to make sure I understood everything. They didn’t rush. They stayed an extra 45 minutes over their time to ensure my baby was going to be okay. That means more to me than they will ever know.

We’ve only been to this vet a couple times, but have always felt welcomed. I appreciate they don’t pressure you into buying things and services and don’t make you feel guilty if you decline. My senior dog has been experiencing some pain suddenly and they were able to get him in that day. They were so kind, patient, and gentle with him. I wish i could give them more stars!!! I I noticed our 4yr old JTR/Chi mix might have a bowel obstruction(it was), and they got us in ASAP even though they were closing! We dealt with morning and night staff, all doctors and nurses go above and beyond, treat your fur babies like their very own, and are great with communication! They got our pup into surgery within a few hours and kept us updated throughout the entire process. My dog Kobe and I had a great experience at Maplewood. Everyone from the front desk to the vet assistant to the vet were all accommodating, caring, and patient. Kobe had been itching for quite some time now and they gave him an allergy shot and he stopped itching the next day!
